Do you want to live a longer and healthier life?

When it comes to curbing or reducing the effects of aging, any natural strategy is interesting and healthy.

Let’s talk about those small daily gestures that, in addition to improving health in general, are a real treasure trove of antioxidants, moisturizing substances and vitamin C, ideal for preventing wrinkles and for recovering skin elasticity.

As we can well imagine, there are no definitive remedies for aging. We can adopt good habits, use beauty treatments, but, above all, accept the passing of the years.

However, we must not take a passive attitude towards aging; it is better to take an active approach that has as its main purpose to feel good, take care of ourselves and pay attention to what we eat.

Today we make you a proposal: drink one or more of the following natural juices every day. They are healthy and will help reduce the effects of time.

1. Tomato juice

Tomato juice contains a very specific antioxidant: lycopene.

This carotenoid and phytochemical pigment is a true specialist in fighting free radicals (molecules or ions that can damage healthy cells, attack our immune system and accelerate aging).

Furthermore, lycopene helps us to obtain a firmer and more toned skin by inhibiting the activity of collagenase, a type of enzyme that, year after year, degrades the collagen in our skin.

2. Kale juice

Kale juice cannot be missing when it comes to slowing down aging.

Its leaves are rich in vitamin K, which is useful for preventing heart disease and osteoporosis.

Kale offers us a number of nutrients, including:

  • Mineral salts (manganese, copper, calcium, potassium, iron, magnesium)
  • Vitamins (B1, B2, B6, E)
  • Fibers
  • Omega 3 fatty acids

It is therefore a multi-vitamin vegetable with a high antioxidant action.

3. Eggplant juice or water

In our space we have explained to you several times why we consider eggplant one of the healthiest vegetables.

An exceptional way to take advantage of its properties is to cook it and store the cooking water.

There are also those who cut it into cubes and then centrifuge it and mix the juice with that of an apple. In this way, the flavor certainly improves.

Eat it however you like, because eggplant is one of the richest foods in antioxidants.

4. Red grape juice

Grapes, with their peel and seeds, have long been used to package beauty products aimed at slowing down aging.

Its secret lies in resveratrol, an antioxidant also present in blackberries, blueberries and currants, with a powerful anti-aging action.

To get maximum benefit from grapes, the best thing is to wait for the season.

Instead of buying bottled juice, try making it at home: this way, you can be sure that the peel and seeds are also present. Don’t discard anything!

5. Pomegranate juice: wonderful!

One of the best fruits to keep at home, whenever its season arrives, is that of pomegranate.

It helps reduce bad cholesterol, is ideal for fighting bacteria in the bladder and kidneys, and is also a good remedy for preventing wrinkles.

The pomegranate fruit helps us produce urolithin A, a molecule known for its ability to regenerate mitochondria and take care of our cells.

Take advantage of it every time you see it at the market or supermarket.

6. Watermelon juice

Although it is commonly thought that watermelon is composed only of water and sugar, it is actually a fruit that provides a high amount of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.

Watermelon is extremely moisturizing, a feature much appreciated by our skin.

Furthermore, we cannot forget that it is very rich in vitamin A, which is necessary, because it helps renew the epidermis and maintain the right degree of hydration, fighting dry skin and wrinkles.

7. Kiwi

We recommend the yellow kiwi. If you mix it in a blender with an apple and a little lemon, you will get a fabulous anti-aging drink.

The antioxidant compounds present in kiwifruit help to firm the skin and delay the formation of classic expression lines.

Its power lies, first of all, in its high content of vitamins C and E which help reduce skin damage caused by free radicals.
